Meet Our Doctor
Inspired by the authenticity and natural beauty that define Bend, Dr. Amanda Nelson, M.D., F.A.C.S. returned to her hometown in 2018 to join Northwest Cosmetic Surgery as an aesthetic plastic surgeon. Since Dr. Gary Gallagher’s retirement in December 2019, Dr. Nelson has led the practice, building on its legacy of excellence in plastic surgery.

True to her roots, Dr. Nelson delights in everyday adventures, from backpacking in the great outdoors to quiet reflection in the yoga studio. On weekends she can be found cooking delicious meals or chasing her adorable son, Henry, around the woods.

Hike Smith Rock, Misery Ridge to Burma Road; Henry loves to race to the summit.
Visit mom and dad’s ranch to help with the remodel and play with the pigs.
