Meet Our Nurse
Emily Hansen, RN, and Kevin fell in love with the beauty and adventure of Bend almost as much as one another, and promptly made the move in 2020. Emily has a phenomenal depth and breadth in scope of practice with over twelve years of aesthetic plastic surgery and dermatology experience. Since her arrival in town, Emily has expertly cared for our patients as Dr. Nelson’s beloved Surgical Nurse. Eager to expand her aesthetic role, she joined the NWCS clinical team to extend the skincare, broadband light, and laser offerings.
Philosophy
Emily’s passion lies in the space where art and medicine meet, with special attention paid to technique and anatomy. Her personalized care is tailored to address your individual concerns and requests. She delights in the transformations that IPL/laser treatments, and pure products provide. Recognizing the effect that overall body, mind, and gut health has on the skin, Emily focuses on teaching her clients the balance of skincare. Her patients relish in the natural beauty, glowing skin treatments she provides.
Personal
Emily enjoys Bend’s outdoor adventures as much as indulging in the town’s delights. With Kevin and their young son Oliver racing ahead, Emily is happy to spend her days trail-hopping through town from coffee shop to brewery to shaved ice stand.
Emily’s top five things that would make a perfect Bend day:
Bluebird Bachelor days, pacing the runs with hot chocolate breaks for Ollie.
Heading out for a mountain bike ride or run along Marvin’s Garden.
Gathering at the majestic Suttle Lodge after a day of paddle boarding.
Enjoying her latest historical fiction find from the Downtown Bend Library.
Stopping in for Active Culture bowls and burritos with Ollie (and perhaps bumping into Dr. Nelson and Henry!)
